Recorded By Eric Clapton, with his band Derek and the Dominos and released in 1970 on Layla and other Love songs. Layla was inspired by Clapton's unrequited love for Pattie Boyd, the wife of his friend George Harrison.

Roxanne is of the most iconic songs written about a woman in rock history and therefore fitting for the debut of our Siren Series. Penned by lead singer and bassist Sting, Roxanne was written from the point of view of a man who falls in love with a prostitute. The song was released as a single from their debut album Outlandos d’Amour in April 1978 and In 2008, Roxanne was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

The fourth offering in the Siren Series is aptly named after the iconic ACDC Song “Whole Lotta ROSIE”. Then legendary Lead Singer Bon Scott was inspired to pen this song after having a one night stand with a “rather large” Tasmanian women. Rosie is still in ACDC set today and a fan favorite.

The Michelle represents another collaboration to provide a more affordable version for all music lovers. Performance at this high a level has never before been available at such a affordable price.
Michelle features Jerry Harvey Audio's patented FreqPhase technology, three specially designed Balanced Armature Drivers for full dynamic range, newly designed ergonomically shaped 3D printed shells, and Silver Tinsel cable are all part of this affordable but powerful package.

The fifth in the Siren Series, Michelle, derives its name from the Guns N' Roses song 'My Michelle'.
'My Michelle' was featured in Guns N Roses debut studio album, 'Appetite for Destruction', in dedication to the lead guitarist Slash's friend Michelle Young. Michelle had always wanted someone to write a song that contained her story. 'My Michelle' represents Michelle's life in its entirety, from her drug addiction to her mother's death, and even her father's time in the adult entertainment business.
In his autobiography, Slash explains how Michelle abandoned her old life and successfully started a new life after the release of the song.
THE SIREN SERIES
Jerry Harvey Audio has developed a whole new Balanced Armature Driver to offer reference quality IEMs for mastering and mixing works. The high-range drivers are designed to deliver everything with minimum distortion, the ultimate mid driver offers perfect, flat sound from 10Hz to 5kHz.
The bass driver was designed for an even steeper low-pass effect with no distortion.
Freqphase™ Time | Phase Waveguide
Most Multiple Driver IEM's suffer from phase and timing issues. Low, Mid, and High drivers all have different impulse times. The higher it is, the faster the impulse time of the BA Driver. The lower it is, the slower the response speed. This causes improper arrival times and Phase shifts.
The "Michelle" applies Jerry Harvey Audio's patented "Freqphase" technology, which uses precisely cut tube lengths for each driver to minimize the phase shift of each frequency. This allows for the High, Mid, and Low drivers to be aligned to 1/100ms for the most ideal phase curve. It ensures the correct time alignment and phase of all drivers resulting the most accurate music reproduction in the industry.

With its open design, the AK T1p is particularly capable when it comes to reproducing the full musical wealth offered by high-resolution audio files. The Tesla Technology inside AK T8iE stands for a superb listening experience.
First emerged in 2009 with the reference headphones the T1 and later the AK T5p, the Tesla in-ear is dramatically miniaturized with the same characteristics of its bigger siblings. An extremely high magnetic flux density within a ring magnet ensures a balanced, undistorted, transparent and neutral sound reproduction.
Sounds like an integrated whole
In comparison to other earphones with Balanced Armature(BA) technology, there is no separate transducer for bass, mid-range or treble tones. This avoids phase problems and the losses of sound quality that results from this. From deep bass to the highest trebles, the AK T8iE sounds like an integrated whole. Additionally, the efficiency of the Tesla transducer is so high that it can easily be matched to a 4-way BA system.
Anatomically shaped for pefect fit
The concha design with the cable running rearwards over the ear has several advantages. The in-ears are easily inserted, and don’t fall out because the cable doesn’t pull. The oval-shaped concha moulds sit very comfortably in the auricle without any pressure. Therefore a variety of ear canals of people from around the world were measured. On top of that five different sizes of anatomically shaped silicone tips and three pairs of Comply™ foam eartips ensure the perfect ear for every ear.

The siren series In-ear monitors are named after famous rock songs about women. Jerry Harvey Audio produced a special version of the Roxanne tuned for the Astell&Kern in 2014. The collaboration was so successful that the two companies will now release two more models, Layla and Angie.
The third offering in the “Siren Series” is aptly named after the Rolling Stones song “Angie”. Written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards and recorded in November and December 1972, "Angie" is an acoustic-guitar-driven ballad, which tells of the end of a romance.
Richards, who wrote almost all the music and lyrics for the song, claimed in his autobiography that the name Angie was a pseudonym for heroin, and that the song was about his attempt to quit using it while detoxing in Switzerland.

Tuned dozens of times by the audio experts at Final Audio Design, the Balanced Armature (BA) driver used in the AKR02 is the same unit found in their BA-SS earphones which gives a deep and rich sound.
Balancing Air Movement
With Final Audio Design’s proprietary BAM technology, the depth and three-dimensional sense of space of the audio can be conveyed. The principles of Dynamic Drivers, combined with the characteristics of Balanced Armature drivers represents the exquisite technique of the Balancing Air Movement (BAM).
To resolve the aforementioned characteristics of BA unit earphones, there are many multi-BA unit earphones available in the market.
Most suffer from crossover and size issues. FAD’s BAM resolved the crossover and size issues with its own patented technology, so called ‘Balanced Air Movement (BAM)’.

Balancing Air Movement
To overcome the limits of balanced armature driver, such as lack of hearing low-pitched tone, or getting tired easily from continuous listening, BAM (Balancing Air Movement) technology has been used in the AKR01.
The BAM mechanism, available only from Final Audio Design, controls the internal air flow and prevents sound leakage to create natural sound and 3-dimensional space when listening.
Flat Cable to Suppress the Touch Noise
Available in many of the premium earphones, the original flat cable is provided with the AKR01 to suppress the touch noise and to get rid of the uncomfortable tangling of the cables.
The special and careful design of the earphone housing and the cable connection prevents the common disconnection of the earphones during usage.
